Jill Braun – Team Training Bourbonnais

“I had been using the treadmill only for a couple of years and was not losing weight. Marlowe approached me one day and asked me about my goals. He said a 21 day (quick fix) was going to be starting and wanted to know if I would be interested. That’s how it started. I stick with it because I have seen good results. I lost 35 pounds over 9 months and went down 4 sizes. I enjoy coming to class because it makes me feel good and I get to work out with a great group of people who are working on the same goal. We cheer each other on.”

“I decided to do team training because I was 4 months postpartum with my second child, and I was so unhappy with myself . I have a lot of medical issues, and one day I woke up and decided to become a better me. I decided to join Fitness Premier’s 6 week challenge, so I could be the happiest and healthiest version of myself, not only for me but for my family…What had made me stick with team training for over a year and a half is the fact I have pushed myself and my body to limitsI never thought were possible. Not only have I changed physically but I have mentally. I also love the friendships I have made inside of the gym . Everyone is so motivating and there for one another. I honestly couldn’t imagine my life without the gym now…I continue to come to team training because I love seeing the physical changes. I love the work outs, and not only is it a great way to stay healthy, I have so much fun doing it!…I also have no thyroid, I was told I would struggle with my weight, and I am always up to a challenge to prove anyone wrong who tells me I can’t do something , or won’t be able to do something because of a medical reasons. There are no excuses in life, if you want something you have to work hard for it,and you can do anything you set your mind to. Regardless of what anyone tells you.”

“Personal training started as a way for me to break my stagnant workout routine. In addition to helping me break through fitness plateaus, personal training has given me the information and confidence to incorporate more weight training exercises into my everyday workouts. I now have more knowledge of different exercises that I can do while working out alone and how each exercise affects the particular muscle I’m using. I love that this has helped me reach my goals of losing body fat while increasing muscle tone and definition and fuels my overall fitness journey.”

Howard Little – Personal Training Crete

“My client Howard Little said that he loves the structure of the workouts.  He has back issues, so he enjoys the learning aspect of Personal Training.  He learns how to properly perform exercises, so that he will not get injured by improper form.  He has also learned how to group exercises with specific muscle groups.  Before he was coming into the gym and guessing what to do, but now he comes in with a set game plan and he is crushing it and seeing results!!!” – Marianna Ciscato

My journey started with a “Hello, my name is Marlowe and I’ve lost over 280 pounds and can help you reach your goals.” I was only there to tan but the excitement and confidence on his statement convinced me to schedule my assessment and make a change for the better. While in my assessment he ensured me that he was committed and invested in me reaching my goals. I scheduled to train with him 3x a week and set my first 8 week goal. I have since hit my goal and set new goals, created better eating habits, and attend the gym regularly within my daily routine. I enjoy the accountability and motivation that Marlowe provides for me during my workouts.

Sue Smaga – Team Training Beecher

“I tried team training because I wanted to push myself more. When training on your own people tend to have a lot of down time in between workouts while checking their phones for what to do next. When doing team 

training there is a routine that only gives you so much time between. I like working out with other people. You can chit chat a little but still need to concentrate on the routine. I use the machines in the other room but I see too many people do the same thing over and over. Caleb, Tara, Scott and Kelsey make working out fun. It is not boring. I come and work out it is a great stress reliever.”

“What I love about personal training is that it is geared for me and my needs. My trainer has been evaluating and assessing me even outside of our sessions in order to set up a program that will make me successful. She makes me feel comfortable and is super encouraging.”
